Planet Rolf creates eyewear that is distinctive. Frames that are innovative and highlight the personality of the wearer. For our Substance Collection, we use fast-growing castor beans. The basis of bean glasses is a powder. A powder made from the castor bean. A bean you can watch grow. One that needs little water to grow. And that does not compete with our food and utility crops. To that add the Flexlock joint. A patented joint with an O-ring that holds everything together, and is quickly replaceable. Bean powder and the flexlock joint create frames that are different. Glasses that become a symbol. For our idea of aesthetics, functionality and sustainability. The essence of Rolf.
